I have spent years of my life out on the water. My personal therapy must be on a kayak with acamera.
I get up hours before work so I can experience the peace of a sunrise or rush straight out on the water to feel the letting go of a sunset and all the watery emotions in between. I have just missed storms; having the clouds unleash the rain as I am putting away my kayak. I have hid under trees during rain pours so catch the rainbow that emerges after. Even if I miss the perfect shot the experience is always worth the time and energy to get out on the water. These images reflect my joy, fear, pain, and love of water.
